Vote to stay in USI

Students across Ireland have voted to stay in USI for strong national representation. At UCCSU in Cork last month and at SETU in December 2022, the vast majority of students voting chose to stay in USI to keep their strong national voice and not be isolated with no voice outside the national Student Movement.

This week, SETUSU and TU Dublin Students’ Union are voting. We urge you to vote YES to stay inside USI.

This week, students at Technological University of Dublin have an opportunity to vote for continued national student representation or to have no national voice at all.

Your membership of USI ensures your Student Representatives have a voice at the top level in Irish third level education, and access to the training and events that USI runs, such as Pink Training, EMPower, Women Lead and that your student officers receive training on how to do their job.

Membership of USI costs €5 per year for a full-time student and €2.50 for a part time student. That's your money, and you can decide what happens with it.

You're currently a member, so voting YES in this referendum would not result in any additional fees - it would be a vote to carry on with national representation.

Currently every Technological University Students' Union is in membership of USI - we're strong because of you being members.

Votáil Tá - Vote Yes in the referendum.
