The Union of Students in Ireland holds its Lobby of the Oireachtas every year.
This event gives USI officers an opportunity to express their views and opinions and to pitch their campaigns to representatives of the Government.
The Lobby of the Oireachtas facilitates open discussion and debate between the USI and politicians on pressing topics which are affecting the lives of the students of Ireland today.
In 2009, the event took place in Buswell's Hotel in Dublin, on November 11.
