Friends of USI Equality

What is "Friends of USI Equality"?

"Friends of USI Equality" is a group of organisations who support the work of the USI Equality campaign. In lending your support to the campaign, you raise awareness of our work in your own organisation. There is also the opportunity to get more involved with the campaign. For example, running joint campaigns with USI.

In return for your support, you will receive a copy of our monthly newsletter and access to over 200,000 students. We will promote your campaigns/ initiatives through our national network of local students unions. We will also include your organisation on our website. Every month we will feature a different organisation in the newsletter as well as highlighting any events being organised by your organisation.

Why join "Friends of USI Equality"?

The aim of this initiative is to build solidarity between USI and external organisations who work in the arena of equality and human rights in Ireland. We are all working toward a similar goal and are stronger together than divided and disparate.

In a time, when cutbacks are hitting equality hard and fast, we must come together to create a strong force that can promote equality and fight discrimination within Irish society. By becoming a friend of USI Equality you will also increase your own organisations visibility among third level students and you can also work with us to solidify and strengthen links with young people.
